Apple continues to expand its self-repair program, adding M4-based Macs to the list of models for which it provides parts and manuals.

Apple is one of several computer and electronic companies that have embraced right to repair efforts, providing documentation and parts for customers that want to repair or upgrade their devices.

In one of the company’s recent support articles, Apple lists the M4-powered 2024 MacBook Pro, providing a repair manual for addressing issues with the display, camera, keyboard, SD card, trackpad, USB-C, Thunderbolt, and HDMI ports, as well as battery, power adapter, and speaker/microphone issues.

Right to repair has been growing in popularity, with consumers and lawmakers pushing companies to make it easier for customers to repair and/or upgrade their devices. It’s good to see Apple including M4-based Macs this soon.
